BEAUX ARTS BALL 16 SALT TARPS, HALF RED HALF WHITE
Brooklyn, NY | 2018

16 Salt Tarps, Half Red Half White, were woven in Ohio and sewn in Illinois, unloaded on a gantry in Brooklyn, later used to cover a salt pile in Staten Island.

The installation was developed for the 2018 Beaux Arts Ball, hosted by The Architectural League of New York at Building 77 of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The theme of the ball was Vector- a celebration of the flows of ideas, goods, and people through global networks of communication and exchange.

The installation was accompanied by performances of “All but a dream” by the  Crossman Dans(c)e Company.
